About the Role
Paid role. The rate is negotiable with our Producer.
This role will require on set collaboration and close communication with the crew. Assembling the kit will be a solo task but the 2nd AC, on-set costumes and 1st AD can assist with troubleshooting. Other specific tasks may be given by the 1st AD, director or producer.
Requirements
Prior experience as a sound mixer/boom op on a different set
Technical skill of multi-track field recorders, digital audio workstations, timecode synchronization, wireless frequency coordination, and more
Maintaining audio quality control, being able to flag environmental noise and distortion
Good gear management and owning or having access to a kit with the adequate gear
Excellent communication with the director, script supervisor, and camera department
