About the Role
Volunteer role. Crafty and credits offered to all of our volunteers.
This role will require on set collaboration and close communication with the camera department. The 2nd AC will help the camera team setup gear, slate shots, mark actors and write camera reports. The 1st AC will assist in giving tasks when they need completion while other specific tasks may be given by the DOP.
Requirements
Prior experience as a 2nd AC on a different set
Excellent understanding of the assembly and use of modern cameras specifically to swap filters, lenses and more to help with efficient setups
Good communication with the camera department
Clear and accurate slating
Assisting in blocking actors with T-marks and filling out camera logs
Safely transfer digital memory cards
Understanding of setting up the 2nd AC kit and watching over the gear
